Mid-week Dinners and Electives will resume in September 2010.
 
During the fall and the spring the congregation meets together on Wednesday night for food, fellowship, teaching, and service. It is a wonderful time to join together with brothers and sisters in Christ for ministry and mercy. Here are some of the details of Mid-Week this year.
 
Winter Quarter Mid-Week
Family suppers and regular mid-week activities will resume on Wednesday, January 6. There will be activities for the entire family
 
  • Meal
    Have your family join us for a meal in the fellowship hall starting at 5:45 p.m. The cost is $5/adult; $4/senior adults and $3/children 12 and under with a $15 family max. This is an opportunity to let someone else do the cooking on this night as well as enjoy time around the tables meeting new people and renewing old friendships.
  • Children's Ministry
    Children in grades 1-5 meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Assembly Room for music, activities, and the move to small groups. Classrooms are listed on the Facility Board in the education wing. Parents pick up at 8:00 p.m.
  • Youth Ministry
    The Middle School students meet from 6:30 - 8:00 for RUSH. The rendezvous location is the Middle School Building. The High School Students (BLITZ) meet from 7:30-9:00pm in the Youth Building.
     
  • Mercy Ministry
    Center Court Outreach meets in the gym at 5:45pm.
  • Music Ministry
    Cherubs-in-Training (K4)
    Cherubs Choir (K5 and 1st grade)
    Vox Angeli Singers (girls, grades 7-12)
    New Bells (youth bell choir)
    King's Ringers (adult bell choir)
    and instrumental ensembles meet at various times.

  • Adult Ministry
    Following dinner, adults can attend the concert of prayer or join a class: Ladies: "Bound for Glory," taught by Debbie Gamble; Ladies: "Sonship," taught by Diane Parham; and "What Were We Put in the World to Do?" taught by Mark Reed; Men: "How to Love Your Wife" taught by Curtis DuBose; Old Testament survey taught by  Larry Gamble.
