We give thanks to the Lord for blessing us with such wonderful Seniors! Our Senior Adult Ministry is designed to provide specific ministry to these faithful ones who have devoted a lifetime to serving the Lord and His Church. These seniors are also encouraged to serve others. Our ministry efforts to these dear saints are grounded firmly on the central values of our church:

Lordship. Our Seniors exemplify the faith and obedience of Caleb, the Old Testament saint whose lifelong devotion to the Lord continued well into his eighties (Josh. 14:6-14). They serve as vibrant examples of what it means to live all of life under the Lordship of Christ.

Discipleship. Through a variety of special events, MRPC Seniors are nurtured to further grow in their individual walk with the Lord Jesus. Their insight and experience from years of walking with the Lord is shared by their active involvement in discipling others, such as in our Community Groups.

Congregational Life. Many of our Seniors are involved in various aspects of our congregational life, such as the Session, CEF, WIC, the Sanctuary Choir, Prime Chimes, the ESL program, and VBS. Their gifts continue to play a vital role in the spiritual growth of our larger Church family.

Missions. The various events conducted by the Seniors Ministry provide outreach opportunities to those in our community. Additionally, various Seniors serve as volunteers for other outreach events. This includes working with Bible memorization at VBS and literacy tutoring.
