Andrew E. Lewis, Senior Pastor
B.A. Erskine College, M.Div. Erskine Theological Seminary. Andy began ministry at MRPC in 1997 as the Associate Youth Director. Four years later he left full time youth ministry to enter Seminary. Upon graduating in the summer of '02 Andy joined our staff as a Pastor in Christian Education and Discipleship. Andy and his wife, Elizabeth, have three children.
Curtis W. DuBose, Assistant Pastor
B.A. Furman University, M. Div. and Th.M., Reformed Theological Seminary. Curtis joined the pastoral staff in July 2007 as Pastoral Associate focusing on adult Christian Education. He and his wife, Chris, have served on the mission field in South Africa and Uganda teaching theology to national pastors. Curtis and Chris have four children.
Mark D. Reed, Assistant Pastor for Groups and Discipleship
B.A. Taylor University, M.Div. Covenant Theological Seminary. After graduating from seminary in 2003, Mark served as a campus minister through Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He came to MRPC in the fall of 2008 for a position he says that he was "created to do." Mark and his wife, Kristi, have three children.
Stephen D. Lawton, Director of Worship and Music
B.Mus. Covenant College. Steve began his work at Mitchell Road in June 1998. He comes to us with his wife, Cathy, from Grace Presbyterian Church (PCA), Ocala, Florida. Steve gives leadership to all levels of the music ministry and assists the pastor in preparing weekly worship services. He also ministers to our Senior Adults by providing a wide variety of activities, Bible study, fellowship, ministry and outreach opportunities for senior adults of all ages and all levels of physical ability.
Robert A. Caldwell, Missions and Outreach
Ruling Elder Bob Caldwell joins our staff to assist with the oversight of Missions and Community Outreach and New Member assimilation. Bob and his wife, Jane, have been a part of the Mitchell Road family for more than 35 years, initially serving as Mitchell Road’s first Youth Director for 8 years. He also has served in various lay leadership capacities:as a Sunday School teacher, on the Global Missions Team, Singles Ministry leader as well as several terms as a ruling elder. Over the years, he has taken more than 200 Mitchell Road members on short-term mission trips. In addition to providing leadership for missions and outreach, Bob will also assist Pastors Lewis and DuBose with visitation and member care.
Debbe M. Mays, Counselor to Women and Families
B.A. Trinity College, M.A. Trinity Theological Seminary. During seminary training, Debbe served a two-year internship with the Upstate Community Mediation Center in Greenville, South Carolina. Following graduation, she continued there as a staff mediator. Debbe has also completed training through Peacemaker Ministries and the South Carolina Bar Association's Family Court Mediation program. Debbe and her husband, Rod, have one married daughter and love to travel.
Darren J. DePaul, Director of Youth Ministries
B.A Geneva College, M.Div. Trinity School for Ministry. Darren joins the staff of Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church with several years of ministry experience serving young people. He has served in both church-based and parachurch ministries. Darren and his wife, Jenny, have two children.
Jonathan D. Kittel, Assistant Director Youth Ministries

. Jonathan joined the staff of MRPC in 2007. A native of Simpsonville, SC, he was involved in the Campus Outreach ministry while attending Furman. He is excited to share his life with the youth and families of Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church.
Brooke R. Faber, Assistant Director Youth Ministries
B.S. Clemson University. Brooke grew up in Simpsonville and upon graduating from Clemson, moved to Memphis, TN where she worked five years in youth ministry at Second Presbyterian Church. Brooke loves working with students and looks forward to getting to know the youth and families of the MRPC community.
Deanna C. Myers, Director of Children’s Ministries
Prior to coming to Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church, Deanna served on the Children’s Ministry staff of Pinewood Presbyterian Church, Middleburg, Florida for seven years. Deanna and her husband, Mike, have one child.
Robert C. Schmidt, Headmaster, Mitchell Road Christian Academy
B.A. Columbia Bible, College M.Ed. Reformed Theological Seminary. After fifteen years as a teacher, coach, and administrator at Charlotte Christian School, Bob became Headmaster at MRCA in July 1994. Bob and his wife, Beth, have three adult children.
G'Joe Joseph, Campus Outreach Director
B.S. Furman University, G'Joe assumed the Director of Campus Outreach Greenville position in March 2003. Originally from Houston, Texas, he came to Greenville during his high school years. He has been involved in Campus Outreach since 1990 as a college student. In 1999 he started the CO ministry at Lander University in Greenwood. He has also served on the Wofford campus.He and his wife, Aimee, have two children.
Theodore J. Dankovich, Business Administrator
B.S. Business Indiana University. Ted joined our staff in October 2002. He and his wife, Tammy, have three children. Ted oversees finance and accounting, human resources, facilities, technology and all other general administration areas supporting the ministry.
Ron N. Hardgrave, Facility Manager
Attended the University of Alabama, Associate degree from Memphis State. Ron and his wife, Rhonda, have one child. Ron has formerly pastored a small church and taught Sunday School for over 15 years.
